Our latest Pet of the Week from the Suncoast Animals League has a mommy cat who’s little ones were adopted recently, and now she needs her own forever own. And what a cutie! This lovely lady is April. You may recall hearing about two kittens who went up for adoption last month named August and January. Her kittens have found their forever homes and now it’s mom’s turn.
April came to Suncoast Animal League pregnant. Fortunately for her, one of our very experienced kitty foster families took her in and made her comfortable before she gave birth to her two kittens. Now that they have gone to their furever families, mom is ready for hers. April is a year old. Her foster mom described her as playful and sweet. She loves playing with her kitty foster siblings and even the big dog in the house. When she wants cuddle time, she will roll over for belly rubs and then purrs and “makes biscuits.” April’s foster mom said she is a little shy at first and is sometimes startled by loud noises so young children probably aren’t ideal for her forever home.
April has been spayed, microchipped and is up-to-date with vaccines. Interested in meeting her? She is still in her foster home so please email us at Foster@SuncoastAnimalLeague.org to be put in touch with them. And make sure that you’re following the Suncoast Animal League on Facebook for more touching stories of adoptions, rescues and ways you can help as a volunteer or a foster family.
