This past weekend it was time to light the lights – a lot of them. More than one million lights have transformed the Florida Botanical Gardens for Holiday Lights In The Garden. Every night there’s entertainment for the whole family along with Santa’s nightly visits. What a magical place to make sure the big guy knows what’s on the kids list, and for you to create new family holiday memories! Holiday Lights is open through through Sunday, Dec. 31, every evening from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. A small donation of $4 per person ages 13 and over is suggested. And why not, with all proceeds going to fund the maintenance and upkeep of the Gardens year-round.
There’s also the chance to do a little shopping with the Florida Botanical Gardens’ biggest sale event of the year – the Gift and Plant Sale Sunday, December 10th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There’ll be something for everyone on your gift list – unusual tropical plants, jewelry, unique clothing and much more. Then of course you’ll want to stay to enjoy the magic of Holiday Lights in the Gardens – one of Pinellas County’s most popular holiday traditions.
